Health Support: Omega-3 (Fish Oil)
Fish oils are essential fatty acids (lipids) found in fish and other marine life such as phytoplankton. These oils are rich sources of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCPUFA) of the n-3 (Omega 3) type. In the circulatory system and various body tissues, they improve synthesis of the phospholipids, which in turn, are incorporated into the cell membranes of blood platelets, blood cells and central nervous system cells. Omega 3 fatty acids help keep blood triglycerides in check and protect against atherosclerosis.
